iTunes Radio

by Dan VanderClock, Senior
Now that Ruckus is no longer available, students are forced to turn to other means for free music. While Pandora is a good resource, it’s not for everyone. A lesser-known option available is iTunes Radio, which is built right into iTunes with no fee. iTunes provides a wide variety of both Terrestrial and Internet radio stations from around the world. With over 3,500 stations, there is something for everyone. Since the music is streamed over the Internet, much of it is higher quality than that found when listening to a standard radio station in your car or home. It is even possible to create a “playlist” of radio stations so you don’t have to go searching for your favorite stations each time you want to listen. With limited free and legal music options available today, iTunes radio is certainly something worth checking out.
